Welcome to the landing page for resources for the UCU Marking and Assessment Boycott (MAB).

In our first meeting about successfully organising a MAB, we discussed the importance of three steps and began complilling the resources below:

  1. Mapping the marking and assessment process at a departmental level. This means understanding when the different steps happen and how degree progression operates.
  2. Raising money for strike funds. This means raising money in the branch, as well as pressuring UCU nationally to release funds.
  3. How to collectively support each other without the picket lines of a strike. This means regular meetings at the departmental level and thinking of other ways to support each other.
