The Rebel Roo was a monthly workers’ bulletin written for and by Deliveroo workers, produced across 2016-17. At its peak, it’s combined online and offline circulation reached c.1,500 a month. It received contributions from Middlesbrough, Brighton, Leeds, Bristol, London, Marseilles and Bologna amongst others, and was distributed at zone centres across the UK and further abroad. It was supported by the political organisation Plan C and the IWGB and IWW trade unions. Its intention was to circulate struggles. In the wake of the London 2016 strike, we wanted to try and help move things forwards by sharing stories about getting organised and fighting back.
